Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin has launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Vande Mataram, Nabin referred to Rahul Gandhi as 'Miyan' and stated that he fails to understand the nation's culture because he was raised in a foreign environment.
Accusations Over Vande Mataram
Addressing the gathering, the BJP chief remarked that there are political elements in the country who feel embarrassed to chant Vande Mataram. Directing his comments at Rahul Gandhi, he asserted that the Congress leader can never comprehend the significance of the national song because he has never truly grasped the core values of Indian culture, having grown up abroad.
Targeting Congress and Martyrs' Sacrifices
Nabin further emphasized that thousands of freedom fighters laid down their lives for the soil and freedom of this country to the echoes of Vande Mataram. He alleged that chanting the full version of the song makes Rahul Gandhi and his mother, along with their party, feel insulted, adding that such a party should certainly be dismantled.
