Prime Minister Narendra Modi is actively participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit this September. Discussions at the summit are expected to focus heavily on regional security, counter-terrorism, connectivity, trade, and enhanced cooperation among member states. India's primary objective at this forum will be to firmly articulate its strategic interests and regional priorities. Adding to the diplomatic momentum, the Prime Minister of Belgium, Bart De Wever, will undertake an official visit to India from September 2 to 4, 2026.
