Political momentum is building up around the upcoming municipal elections in the Jayal region of Nagaur district. For these inaugural local body polls in the area, the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to flex its political muscle by fielding candidates across all twenty-five wards. The entire electoral strategy has been placed directly under the command of Minister of State for Public Works Dr Manju Baghmar, generating considerable enthusiasm among local party workers.
To accelerate campaign preparations, the minister has maintained a continuous schedule of meetings with party cadres over the past two days. During these sessions, she held one-on-one interactions with workers to carefully examine ward-level political dynamics. Discussions also focused extensively on potential candidates and pressing local issues. The minister made it clear that the party will contest all twenty-five wards with full strength.
Surge In Ticket Aspirants After Reservation Draw
As soon as the reservation lottery for the various wards of Jayal municipality was concluded, political temperatures rose sharply and ticket aspirants ramped up their activities. Hundreds of hopeful candidates from different wards began pressing their claims strongly before the party forum. A fierce scramble has broken out among workers eager to try their electoral luck in these maiden polls. To ensure the ticket distribution process remains transparent and smooth, a panel of senior leaders has been constituted to evaluate the past performance of every single applicant.
BJP To Campaign On Development Agenda
Addressing the gatherings, the minister highlighted the substantial development works worth lakhs of rupees executed in Jayal over the past two and a half years. She emphasized that having party governments at both the state and central levels has provided unprecedented momentum to infrastructure projects. If the party secures a majority in the Jayal municipality, local development work will receive an even greater push. The party will now select its strongest candidates based on this development agenda and the screening committee's report, setting the stage for an engaging electoral contest.
