Elaborating on her statements to the media, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra leveled specific accusations concerning events in Minister Pralhad Joshi's home state of Karnataka. She alleged that Pralhad Joshi was instrumental in inducting an individual into the Bharatiya Janata Party who had previously been involved in assaulting women at a pub in Mangaluru. The Congress leader pointed out that photographic evidence exists confirming the individual's formal entry into the party alongside the minister. Treasury Benches Demand Apology and Disciplinary Action

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju raised a strong objection in the House, characterizing the allegations against the newly appointed Education Minister as unverified character assassination. Kiren Rijiju asserted that if the Congress member fails to substantiate her claims with empirical proof, she ought to tender an apology to the House. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla similarly observed that unverified statements should not be leveled on the floor of the House.
