Siddaramaiah Push for 75 Percent Reservation
Congress has been in power in Karnataka since 2023. In recent developments, 79-year-old leader Siddaramaiah has presented a major political proposal by demanding the formal implementation of the existing Karnataka caste survey. Alongside the survey release, Siddaramaiah has called for increasing the reservation quota for Dalits, backward communities, and minorities to 75 percent. Siddaramaiah handed over the Chief Minister post to DK Shivakumar in May.
