With Uttar Pradesh heading toward assembly elections next year, political tensions across the state have intensified rapidly. Party leaders have engaged in sharp verbal duels as election preparations gather momentum. Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief and Uttar Pradesh government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar launched a direct attack on Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav. In a statement wrote on X, Rajbhar questioned the SP chief regarding his alleged hostility toward the Kurmi community.
Reinterpreting PDA and Referencing Azam Khan
Targeting the Samajwadi Party's central political slogan PDA, OP Rajbhar offered a provocative alternative interpretation. He stated that ever since the party announced its intention to make Azam Khan the Home Minister, the morale of what he termed the "Peet Dega Ashfaq" gang has escalated. Rajbhar alleged that supporters of both Akhilesh Yadav and Azam Khan have become emboldened across the state. He claimed that non-Yadav backward classes are being systematically harassed throughout Uttar Pradesh, with members of the Kurmi community facing the brunt of these actions.
Allegations of Land Grabbing in Lucknow's Jankipuram
To substantiate his claims, the SBSP leader cited a specific conflict in Lucknow's Jankipuram locality. He brought up an incident involving Chand Siddiqui, identified as the state vice president of SP's Lohia Vahini and a former corporator. According to Rajbhar, Chand Siddiqui accompanied former pradhan Nabbu, Gufran, and Guddu in a Scorpio vehicle to intimidate a resident named Bharat Verma. Rajbhar alleged that acting on directions from party leadership, the group attempted to forcefully occupy Verma's property, demolished boundary pillars, used abusive language, and fired warning shots into the air to create panic.
Warning of Police Action and Critique of Saifai Syndicate
Issuing a stern warning, Rajbhar remarked that SP leaders in their enthusiasm failed to remember which administration currently governs Uttar Pradesh. He asserted that police investigations and searches have commenced, and those responsible for breaking the law will soon face strict legal consequences. Rajbhar further criticized Akhilesh Yadav's leadership style, accusing him of inciting party workers to commit illegal acts and subsequently abandoning them when law enforcement intervenes. Drawing a parallel to Azam Khan's situation, Rajbhar claimed that using individuals for political gain and dropping them during crises is an established pattern. Concluding his statement, Rajbhar questioned the impact of the Saifai Syndicate, alleging that it has disrupted numerous families while party loyalists remain oblivious to political realities.
