The festive cheer of Deepotsav has brought a vibrant surge to Bikaner's automobile market, drawing heavy crowds to two-wheeler showrooms as locals uphold the tradition of purchasing new vehicles on Dhanteras. People are showing immense enthusiasm particularly for buying motorcycles and scooters this season. Anticipating the festive rush, automobile makers and local dealers have made special preparations. Hero MotoCorp showrooms in Bikaner have been witnessing continuous booking activity for several days, registering a notable increase compared to last year's figures.
Strong Rural Footprint and Customer Trust
Ramratan Dharnia, an authorized dealer at Rajaram Dharnia Automobiles, noted that the two-wheeler market is experiencing robust sales figures this season. Hero has maintained a dominant presence across rural areas for a long time, where the company's vehicles enjoy immense popularity. The key driving factors behind this enduring preference are reliable after-sales service and deep customer trust. He explained that the company consistently emphasizes delivering better facilities to buyers, which directly translates into stronger market sales.
700 Vehicles Booked and Ambitious Targets
Ramratan Dharnia stated that Hero operates a total of four showrooms across Bikaner, where customers have shown tremendous excitement for the festive season. Around 700 vehicles have already been booked so far. On Dhanteras, a large number of buyers will arrive to take delivery of their pre-booked vehicles, while fresh walk-in customers are also visiting the showrooms to make purchases. He expressed confidence that roughly 1,800 vehicles will be sold during these five days of Deepotsav. Additionally, overall vehicle sales in Bikaner are projected to rise by around 200 units this year.
Dhanteras Tradition and Youthful Enthusiasm
Purchasing new vehicles alongside gold and silver on Dhanteras is considered auspicious, making many buyers view the day as exceptionally special for making a major purchase. Families are visiting showrooms together to book their preferred bikes and scooters, while some customers who booked earlier are fully prepared to take delivery on the festival day itself. Others are finalizing their choices right on the spot. The festive season has also sparked great enthusiasm among young buyers who are eager to purchase their very first motorcycle.
New Models and Electric Vehicles in the Market
The company has introduced several new models to the market this season to cater to diverse preferences. Alongside traditional petrol-powered vehicles, buyer interest is steadily growing toward electric two-wheelers as well. Hero's electric vehicle offering, Vida, has also been introduced to the market, giving customers a choice between both petrol and electric options. According to dealers, buyers are selecting their vehicles this festive season based strictly on individual utility, budget, and personal choice.
