A horrific incident triggered by a political dispute occurred in Mahuwada village, located within the Kalyanpur police station limits of Rajasthan's Udaipur district. Enraged over his family refusing to vote for his friend in a recent election, a man identified as Rahul Parmar launched a violent attack on his own family members late at night, killing his mother with an iron rod and severely injuring his father.
Midnight Confrontation Over Election Voting
The victim, Pushpa Parmar, was sleeping peacefully inside her home alongside her husband Lalchand Parmar, elder son Ganesh Parmar, and her daughter-in-law. At around 3:00 AM, the younger son, Rahul Parmar, returned home in a fit of rage. He immediately confronted his family, accusing them of failing to support his friend during the election. The verbal argument quickly spiraled out of control as Rahul lost his temper.
Brutal Attack with Iron Rod
As the conflict escalated, Rahul picked up a heavy iron rod and struck his mother Pushpa directly on the head. Hearing the commotion, her husband Lalchand rushed forward to protect her, but Rahul turned on him, inflicting serious injuries with the same metal rod.
