A disturbing incident of violence inside a classroom has come to light from Kuchaman city in the Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan. A teacher at a local coaching institute named Jagriti Classes stands accused of brutally assaulting a student during an ongoing class. According to the student, the incident took place on 10 October when teacher Shyopal grabbed him by the neck, violently slammed him onto a desk, and proceeded to thrash him using shoes. The victim further stated that the teacher issued a direct threat to kill him if he ever showed up at the coaching institute again.
Classroom CCTV Footage Captures the Entire Assault
The entire sequence of violence was recorded by a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera installed inside the classroom. In the footage that surfaced following the incident, the confrontation between the teacher and the student is clearly visible, showing the instructor behaving in an extremely aggressive manner toward the youngster. The physical assault left the student with bodily injuries. The emergence of the video sparked widespread anger among other students enrolled at the coaching facility as well as their parents, who expressed deep concern over classroom safety.
Medical Examination Conducted and Criminal Case Registered
Given the severe nature of the allegations, the injured student went directly to the local police station accompanied by his family members to lodge a formal named complaint. Police personnel acted promptly by sending the student for a mandatory medical examination to document his physical injuries. Rajendra Khadav, the station house officer (SHO) of Kuchaman police station, confirmed that an FIR under relevant criminal provisions was registered against the accused teacher Shyopal on Sunday evening based on the student's complaint.
ASI Assigned to Spearhead the Investigation
The Kuchaman police administration has assigned Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rajendra Kumar to lead the detailed probe into the incident. Investigating officers noted that the inquiry is progressing based on the formal allegations in the complaint, findings from the medical report, and visual evidence collected from the classroom CCTV recording. Authorities stated that the precise reasons and triggers behind the physical assault will be fully determined once the investigation concludes, following which strict legal action will be initiated against the accused educator.
