A special unit of the Income Tax Department initiated an early morning inspection at RR Hospital situated on Churu Road in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Traveling in five vehicles, an enforcement contingent consisting of approximately 15 members entered the hospital premises precisely at 5:00 AM on Monday. To synchronize multiple searches across various locations simultaneously, the teams had departed around 11:00 PM on Sunday night, enabling them to begin inspections at daybreak. Upon arrival, officials moved quickly to secure administrative zones and core offices within the hospital compound.
Inspection Of Electronic Data, Records, And Devices
Inside the facility, department personnel immediately secured core administrative computers along with accounting paperwork and internal documents. As part of operational protocols, mobile phones of on-duty staff members present at the venue were collected. Officials examined technical data, transaction trails, and digital records stored on the devices. Following a technical scrutiny lasting nearly two hours, the devices were returned to their owners. The unannounced entry and immediate seizure of records led to sudden disruption among hospital administrative personnel.
Linked Operations Across Panipat And Jaipur
The inquiry underway at the Jhunjhunu healthcare center forms part of a broader operation spanning neighboring Haryana and the state capital of Jaipur. Around 6:00 AM on Monday, combined teams including officials deployed from Delhi and Punjab initiated searches at the Bhatia office located in Model Town, Panipat. The businesses under review primarily operate in the pharmaceutical distribution sector, supplying medicines to hospitals.
These operations involve two business entities, Plus Distribution and Plus Distribution Private Limited, associated with Anil Bhatia and Ashwani Bhatia. Simultaneously, tax officials entered Amar Medical and Research Centre located in the Mansarovar locality of Jaipur. The synchronized timing across pharmaceutical distributors and medical centers indicates an examination into shared supply chains and associated commercial transactions across state borders.
Formal Findings Await Official Confirmation
The Income Tax Department has not yet issued a formal public statement detailing the specific allegations, seized items, or broader conclusions connecting the searches in Jhunjhunu, Panipat, and Jaipur. Investigators on site have not publicly specified the scope of alleged financial anomalies or tax irregularities. Official clarifications from department authorities are awaited to reveal the factual findings regarding financial transactions and the underlying objective of the combined operation.
