A mobile phone theft took place early Monday morning inside a private hospital located in Chidawa city of Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district. The entire sequence of events was caught on the CCTV cameras installed within the hospital premises. According to available details, the incident occurred around 4:00 AM on Monday, when a suspicious young man was seen roaming around the hospital corridors, observing the surroundings and keeping a close watch on the ongoing activities.
Targeting a Sleeping Employee
According to the CCTV footage, the suspect eventually spots a mobile phone belonging to an employee. The staff member was fast asleep at the time, and his phone was plugged into a charger. Seizing the opportunity, the young man quietly approached the sleeping employee and smoothly removed the phone from the charging point. After securing the mobile, the suspect immediately fled the scene. When the CCTV footage was reviewed following the incident, the individual's movements appeared clearly, and authorities are now working to identify him based on these recordings.
Bikes Collide Head-On in Pilani
In a separate incident within the same Jhunjhunu district, a severe road accident occurred on Saturday night along the Pilani-Chidawa road right in front of an HP petrol pump in the Pilani town. Two motorcycles collided head-on, leaving two young men injured. The impact of the collision was so violent that both riders were thrown into the air before crashing onto the asphalt. The entire accident was recorded by a CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump, showing one motorcycle turning right just as another speeding bike crashed directly into it.
Medical Treatment and Police Investigation
Immediately after the crash, locals gathered at the spot and, with the help of an ambulance, rushed both injured victims to the Birla Public Hospital in Pilani. Doctors promptly initiated emergency first aid upon their arrival. Both youths sustained serious injuries, and their medical treatment is currently ongoing. Upon receiving information about the accident, the local police station dispatched officers to the scene to inspect the site and gather details.
