Railway authorities have launched a special upgradation drive focusing on the segment situated between Luni Richha and Vikramgarh Alot stations, where tracks are being renewed using advanced and mechanized methods. To execute this complex engineering task with high precision and within strict timeframes, the railways is deploying the specialized Simplex Quick Relaying System machine. This heavy machinery allows crews to swiftly replace aged components, establishing a much stronger and safer foundation for train operations while prioritizing passenger safety and maintaining uninterrupted transit speeds.
Recent operations highlight the remarkable integration of modern technology within the engineering department. During a brief traffic block lasting just three hours, maintenance crews successfully renewed 43 track panels, translating to a 516-meter stretch of completely modernized railway line. Reviewing the operational data from the past fifteen days, approximately 2,800 meters or 2.8 kilometers of track have been successfully overhauled using this mechanized system. Notably, despite continuous heavy downpours and adverse weather conditions that typically disrupt outdoor civil works, dedicated railway personnel and engineers maintained steady momentum without letting the challenging environment slow down developmental progress.
Through Sleeper Renewal Enhances Structural Integrity

Under this initiative, severely weathered and dated sleepers are systematically removed and replaced with modern concrete sleepers that meet stringent quality benchmarks.
