A tragic incident has unfolded in the Rasala Mohalla neighborhood of Bharatpur district in Rajasthan, where a local resident named Amit ended his life by hanging inside his home. The incident led to immediate commotion in the area, following which personnel from the Mathura Gate police station reached the spot to begin preliminary legal proceedings.
Family Forced Open Room Door to Rush Him to Hospital
According to family members, when Amit did not emerge from his room, suspicions arose, prompting them to break down the locked door. They discovered him hanging inside and immediately brought him down before rushing him to the district RBM Hospital for emergency treatment. Upon arrival, examining physicians officially declared him dead. Officers from the Mathura Gate police station subsequently took charge of the body, moved it to the hospital mortuary, and initiated the necessary formalities.
Allegations of Marital Discord and Extramarital Ties
The brother of the deceased has leveled serious allegations regarding the circumstances leading up to the tragedy. He stated that Amit and his wife had entered into a love marriage. Prior to this relationship, the woman had been married elsewhere, but that marriage had ended in divorce, after which she and Amit decided to tie the knot.
The brother alleged that marital discord began when the wife became involved in a relationship with another man. This issue reportedly triggered frequent and intense arguments between the couple over an extended period. Despite Amit's repeated attempts to reason with her and stabilize their domestic life, the disputes failed to subside. The ongoing household strife caused significant emotional distress to Amit, who subsequently locked himself in the room and took the extreme step following an escalation in the dispute.
Autopsy Concluded as Police Continue Investigation
Officials from the Mathura Gate police station arranged for a postmortem examination at the mortuary of the district RBM Hospital before releasing the body to the family for final rites. Police stated that an investigation is currently underway across all angles, including the allegations presented by the family members, to determine the exact sequence of events.
