For nearly the last four years, he has been on the run, with various agencies, including the SOG, actively searching for him. Recently, Dhaka made headlines again following the news that his father's firm was granted a gravel mining lease worth 20.05 crore rupees. Background of Suresh Dhaka
Suresh Dhaka is a native of Achalpur village in the Sanchore region of Jalore district, Rajasthan. While residing in Jaipur, he operated a coaching institute by the name of “Umang Classes.” He has maintained a significant presence on social media, with claims suggesting he has approximately 1.5 million followers and many of his accounts are verified, indicating his level of reach and influence.
The Mining Lease Controversy
Dhaka’s father, Mangilal Dhaka, currently serves as the Sarpanch of Achalpur village. Recently, his firm, “Dhaka Construction,” was awarded a gravel mining lease for approximately 100 hectares in Maisiya village, located in the Raipur region of Beawar district, valued at 20.05 crore rupees. This allocation has sparked a political controversy, drawing renewed attention to Dhaka's influence.
Claims of Political Connections
For a long time, there have been assertions regarding Suresh Dhaka’s strong political connections. Several photographs of him with various politicians have surfaced on social media, fueling speculation about his reach. It has also been claimed that he managed the social media accounts of certain political figures, although these claims have not been officially verified.
Involvement in 10 Recruitment Exam Leaks
According to investigative agencies, Suresh Dhaka’s name has appeared in connection with the leaking of question papers for 10 recruitment examinations in Rajasthan, including the Sub-Inspector recruitment exam and the Second Grade Teacher recruitment exam. The latter case gained national attention when the leaked paper was discovered on a moving bus in Udaipur.
Status as a Wanted Fugitive
Suresh Dhaka has been a fugitive since 2023. The Special Operation Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police is tasked with his capture. A reward of 5 lakh rupees has been announced for information leading to his arrest. Despite the issuance of a lookout circular, he remains beyond the reach of the authorities.
Action by ED and SOG
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has previously taken action against his properties, including a flat in Jaipur. Simultaneously, the SOG has been conducting frequent raids on his known locations. Recently, the SOG has also investigated premises linked to his family and the locations associated with the gravel mining lease. During the course of the investigation, his brother-in-law, Suresh Bishnoi, was arrested. Names such as Bhupi Saran and Dr. Bhajanlal also emerged during the probe. Currently, Suresh Dhaka remains one of the most sought-after fugitives in Rajasthan, and investigations into his network continue.
