Visit to Maternal Home
According to available details, the two girls had travelled to their maternal home specifically to observe the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Taking advantage of the holiday and the festive atmosphere, the two girls wandered near a river close to the house to play. The children were completely engrossed in their own world of games, unaware that this outing would turn out to be their final moment. Fatal Rescue Attempt
While playing near the riverbank, one of the sisters slipped and fell directly into deep water. Due to the strong current, she failed to maintain her balance and began to drown.
