At an age when most young people are busy shaping their careers, securing better jobs, chasing personal relationships, and dreaming of a prosperous future, two sisters from Nagpur, Maharashtra, have chosen to walk away from the glitz and glamour of material existence. Born and raised in an affluent household well-equipped with all modern comforts, Kavita and Priya dedicated their entire lives to divine service shortly after finishing their formal education.
Spreading Spiritual Wisdom in Karauli as Brahmakumaris
Presently, both sisters are stationed in Karauli, Rajasthan, serving as Brahmakumari sisters and guiding people toward understanding the eternal bond between the human soul and the Supreme Soul. They also impart teachings on Rajyoga meditation and spiritual awareness. The sisters state that they no longer harbor any personal ambitions; instead, they share a single resolve to carry the divine message of the Almighty to as many souls as possible and offer people a profound sense of inner peace.
Choosing a Path Away From Conventional Life After Studies
In today's fast-paced era, securing a lucrative job, building a successful career, and achieving material success rank as the top priorities for most youths upon completing their education. However, Kavita and Priya carved out a completely distinct path for their lives. Both completed their studies before making the conscious decision to walk the path of divine wisdom.
Rooted in Family Tradition and Values
Priya, the younger sister, shares that their parents were already closely associated with this spiritual path. Growing up in such a household environment gave her the opportunity to closely observe and understand spirituality from a very tender age. Furthermore, their elder sister Kavita had already committed herself entirely to this noble service. Watching her elder sister inspired Priya to explore and embrace the path herself. As she began to understand and experience this profound knowledge, her inclination toward a spiritual life grew steadily stronger.
Embracing the Path at Just 21 Years of Age
Right after completing her academic studies, Priya chose the path of divine service at the young age of 21. She holds a degree in BSc and IT. Priya expresses that her primary desire now is for the divine message to reach countless souls across the globe, helping individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, and various life challenges find a pathway to inner peace.
The Inspiring Journey of the Elder Sister Kavita
The story of the elder sister, Kavita, is equally compelling. Kavita recounts that during her childhood, their grandmother was connected with this spiritual path. Observing her grandmother sparked a deep curiosity in her mind to understand the true essence of a spiritual lifestyle. She noted that incorporating this profound knowledge into her daily routine and experiencing its practical benefits brought her immense internal positivity, which gradually integrated the path into her everyday existence.
A Close-Knit Family of Three Sisters
Kavita explains that apart from their parents, their family consists of three sisters with no brothers. They received continuous encouragement from their family to study and adopt spiritual teachings in their lives. Among the three sisters, Kavita was the first to embrace this spiritual path. Seeing her elder sister walk this dedicated route deeply influenced Priya, who subsequently chose the path of divine service as well. Meanwhile, the third sister opted for a conventional householder life following her marriage.
Stepping Away From Affluence for Higher Purpose
These two sisters hail from a comfortable, well-to-do family in Nagpur. Their father retired as an officer from WCL, a prominent company in the coal sector, while their homemaker mother managed the household. Despite having no shortage of luxury or material comforts, both sisters chose spirituality over personal indulgence and worldly pleasures to serve as the foundation of their lives. Their existence is now entirely devoted to imparting spiritual wisdom, teaching Rajyoga, and spreading a message of peace throughout society.
