A remarkable demonstration of religious devotion has emerged from the famed Shri Sanwaliya Seth temple situated in Mandaphia, in the historic Mewar region of Rajasthan. Following the completion of the monthly counting process of the temple's donation vaults, the overall offerings crossed the massive benchmark of 31 crore rupees. Worshippers visiting from across the nation to pray or express gratitude for fulfilled pledges contributed generously, offering substantial volumes of precious metals alongside hard currency at the deity's altar. The massive tally has reaffirmed the profound reach of the shrine across western India and beyond.
Cash Counting Concluded in Five Distinct Phases Under Tight Watch
In accordance with established custom, the primary donation vault of the deity was opened on Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi. Given the extraordinary volume of contributions, the administrative authorities organized the counting process under tight security and clear oversight to preserve total transparency. The calculation exercise spanned five separate rounds before reaching completion. Directly from the sanctum's donation boxes, the total cash recorded amounted to 23,58,44,818 rupees. In the fifth and concluding phase alone, officials tallied 44,22,718 rupees in cash, finalizing the vault-derived segment of the offerings.
Significant Receipts Recorded Through Online Channels and Money Orders
Faithful devotees unable to travel physically to the Mandaphia premises took advantage of remote contribution mechanisms to make their offerings. Official records released by the temple administration indicate that a sum of 7,59,47,311 rupees reached the temple through digital transfers, the administrative office, and postal money orders. When combined with the cash discovered inside the donation chests, the aggregate financial contribution for the month settled at precisely 31,17,92,129 rupees, establishing one of the most substantial monthly totals registered at the shrine.
Massive Offerings of Precious Metals Include 92 Kilograms of Silver
Apart from fiat currency, the shrine is widely recognized for receiving vast offerings of precious jewelry, coins, and bullion from devotees. According to verified figures released by the temple board, worshippers offered 930 grams and 100 milligrams of pure gold during this period. In addition, the weight of silver offered reached 92 kilograms, 242 grams, and 320 milligrams. These precious metal gifts were handed over partly into the primary chests and partly deposited through official receipts at the shrine's administrative desk. Devotees throughout Rajasthan and neighboring states closely monitor these monthly accounting reports as a reflection of collective devotion.
