In a major counter-gang operation, the Anti-Gangster Task Force in Rajasthan joined hands with the Jodhpur Police Commissionerate to apprehend two shooters affiliated with the Lawrence-Arzoo Bishnoi syndicate. Both individuals carried a cash bounty of ₹5 lakh each on their heads. They had traveled to Jodhpur with the explicit intention of carrying out an unlawful attack before law enforcement teams tracked them down and took them into custody.
Accused Linked to Homicide Cases in Punjab
The apprehended individuals hail from the Fazilka district of Punjab. Official police records identify the duo as Rajinder alias Billa and Jaskaran Singh alias Karan alias Sunny alias Katta. Prior to this operation, both suspects had been evading arrest in connection with past murder cases reported across Abohar and Fazilka in Punjab, prompting continuous tracking across state lines by multiple investigative units.
Coordinated Operation Supervised by Senior Officials
The specialized operation was conducted under the direct supervision of Dinesh M.N., Additional Director General of the Anti-Gangster Task Force. The ground execution team comprised ASP Siddhant Sharma, DySP Ravindra Pratap, along with Inspectors Sunil Jangid and Ramsingh. Working in tandem with local police personnel from Jodhpur, the task force organized a swift cordon to neutralize any escape attempt.
Custodial Interrogation Focused on Gang Network
Following their apprehension, both suspects were taken into custodial interrogation to map their operational connections in Rajasthan. Investigators are actively examining who provided them local shelter, the specific targets marked for their planned strike, and their broader linkages to criminal rackets operating across neighboring northern states.
