Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has evaluated the administrative preparations for the upcoming public exposition of the Holy Relics of Buddha Shakyamuni. The sacred event is slated to take place from November 1 to 15, 2026, coinciding with the commemorations of the 2569th Vesak Buddha Purnima. To ensure foolproof execution, a high-level coordination meeting was convened at Namsai.
Comprehensive Review In Namsai
During the Saturday session, Chowna Mein examined every facet of the reception protocols, public infrastructure, and inter-departmental cooperation required for the sacred exposition. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining robust security and seamless crowd management to accommodate the large influx of devotees anticipated during the multi-week celebration.
Itinerary Across Tawang, Bomdila And Namsai
According to the finalized schedule, the holy relics will travel through multiple districts for public veneration. Devotees will get the opportunity to receive Darshan at Tawang and Bomdila before the relics arrive at the Golden Pagoda in Namsai, where they will be displayed from November 11 to 15, 2026. The event is projected to draw spiritual seekers from across Arunachal Pradesh and neighboring regions.
