BJP President Nitin Nabin commenced his single-day religious tour of Maharashtra on Wednesday, visiting iconic Ganpati pandals and temples across Mumbai and Pune. The visit coincides with the ongoing Ganeshotsav celebrations, which commenced on September 14. During his journey, the political leader offered prayers at the Siddhivinayak Temple and the famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal, praying for the peace and prosperity of both the state of Maharashtra and the entire nation.
High-Profile Accompaniment in Mumbai
During his Mumbai leg of the tour, Nitin Nabin was accompanied by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the BJP Mumbai President Amit Satam. This visit marks Nabin's maiden journey to Maharashtra after assuming the role of BJP President. Expressing his gratitude, Nabin shared his joy at being able to visit the state during such a significant festival. He mentioned being deeply moved by the spiritual atmosphere and stated that his prayers were dedicated to the welfare of the country and its citizens.
Pune Itinerary and Scheduled Devotional Visits
Following the completion of his scheduled events in Mumbai, the BJP chief's itinerary transitions to Pune, where he is set to visit several highly revered Ganesh pandals. Upon arriving in Pune, Nabin will first head to the Kasba Peth Mandal to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha. This visit forms a core part of his spiritual engagements planned in the city for the festive occasion.
Evening Prayers at Historic Temples
The spiritual tour in Pune continues into the evening with a series of visits to prominent religious sites. At 5:00 PM, Nitin Nabin is scheduled to pay his respects at the internationally famous Shrimant Dagadusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple, where he will participate in the evening prayers. Shortly after, at 5:30 PM, the BJP President will visit the Sane Guruji Tarun Mitra Mandal located in Sadashiv Peth. His devotional tour will conclude with a visit to the Shri Sai Mitra Mandal in the Kothrud area, wrapping up his intensive one-day pilgrimage.
