Amidst the grand celebrations of Ganeshotsav in Mumbai, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani arrived on Thursday evening to seek blessings at the famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal. He was accompanied by his younger son Anant Ambani and daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant. As the family entered the premises, tight security arrangements were put in place. Mukesh Ambani along with his family performed the aarti and prayed for peace and prosperity. Both Anant and Radhika were seen dressed in traditional attire, while the members of the organizing committee welcomed the family and presented them with prasad.

Since early morning, long queues of devotees are witnessed every day seeking darshan at Lalbaugcha Raja. Known as ‘Navsacha Ganapati’, the deity is believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees, who offer modaks, durva grass, and valuable gold and silver ornaments. Set up on the theme of the Mahakaleshwar temple, this grand pandal attracts everyone from common citizens to prominent personalities. Established in the year 1934 by local fishermen and traders, the idol of this historic darbar has been crafted by the Kambli family across generations.
