In just one month, the court of Sanwaliya Seth received a total offering of Rs 40,81,40,278. Beyond the cash, devotees also laid large quantities of gold and silver at the feet of the deity.
Boxes Opened on June 14, Counting Done in Seven Rounds
The temple's donation boxes were opened on June 14. The offerings pulled out of the vault were then counted in seven separate rounds, a process that wrapped up on Tuesday. The entire count took place in the presence of temple board president Hazaridas Vaishnav and other administrative officials, and a transparent account of all the cash recovered from the boxes was prepared.
Money Arrived Through Both Boxes and Online Channels
The seven rounds of counting yielded Rs 33,15,18,759 in cash from the donation boxes alone. On top of this, devotees living across India and abroad expressed their faith digitally. They deposited their offerings through online channels, money orders, and by personally visiting the temple's official offering room office to collect a receipt. Through all these routes combined, the temple received donations worth Rs 7,66,21,519.
Adding the heavy sum from the main donation boxes to the amount deposited at the offering room, the total monthly offering for Sanwaliya Seth reached Rs 40,81,40,278. The figure makes it clear that devotees' trust in Sanwaliya Seth is only growing stronger with time.
Vault Yields Nearly Two Kilos of Gold and Over 110 Kilos of Silver
Along with this vast pile of cash, devotees who had their wishes fulfilled also offered precious metals generously. According to the temple administration's official report, this round of the vault and offering room produced a total of 1 kilogram 738 grams 800 milligrams of pure gold. The deity's treasury also received 110 kilograms 648 grams of silver from devotees. All these valuable offerings have been stored securely in a locker as per the temple's rules, and a detailed record of them is being prepared.
Mandfiya Emerges as a Major Centre of Faith
The temple administration says that lakhs of devotees come for darshan at the court of Sanwaliya Seth throughout the year. On special occasions, fairs and festivals, the crowd of devotees swells several times over. This steadily rising offering every month, along with the flood of devotees, proves that this sacred court of Sanwaliya Seth now stands in the front rank not just of Rajasthan but of the country's biggest centres of faith.
