A spirited display of cultural devotion unfolded across Karauli in Rajasthan on Tuesday, where inclement weather and light showers failed to dampen the enthusiasm of local devotees. Marking the opening phase of the Virat Hindu Sammelan, more than 500 women draped in traditional attire took to the streets carrying ceremonial earthen pots (mangal kalash) on their heads.
