Gaurav Paras and Gaurav Barman, residents of Dhanpuri in the Shahdol district, are steadily turning heads across social media platforms with their unique rap performances. While many view rap merely as a form of entertainment, for these two young men, it has evolved into a powerful medium for building an identity and generating income. Driven by raw talent and relentless hard work, the duo is carving out a space in the music world, anchored firmly by their enduring friendship.
Early Beginnings in School
Gaurav Paras harbored a deep passion for writing rap verses and creating gaming content from a very young age. He began penning down rap lyrics around the eighth grade. Initially, it was just a creative outlet to express his thoughts, but as time passed, he decided to take his artistic inclination more seriously. Crafting lyrics and giving voice to his thoughts gradually transformed from a simple pastime into a core pursuit of his life.
The Pandemic Collaboration
Friendship played a pivotal role in shaping their joint musical journey. During the COVID-19 pandemic in the year 2020, Gaurav Paras took the initiative to teach rap techniques to his friend Gaurav Barman. Following this, both friends joined forces to collaborate on various musical projects. Today, they work as a team to compose fresh tracks and share their creative content with a wider audience through social media channels.
Diverse Themes in Their Music
A defining feature of the duo's creative output is their willingness to experiment with a wide variety of subjects in their rap compositions. They often pick specific themes or names as a foundation, meticulously weaving matching words and rhythms around them. Their digital content continues to attract steady viewership and appreciation on social media platforms, providing them with continuous motivation to hone their craft further.
Pursuing Music as a Full-Time Ambition
Gaurav Paras has progressed to a point where he not only performs rap but also earns a livelihood through it. For him, this art form is no longer just a hobby but a serious career aspiration. With the singular goal of excelling in the music domain, he made the bold decision to leave his graduation studies midway so he could dedicate all his time and focus toward refining his musical talent.
Looking Ahead to the Future
The journey of these two young creators from Dhanpuri demonstrates how genuine friendship and creative synergy can open doors to unexpected opportunities. Gaurav Paras and Gaurav Barman are actively expanding their horizons, aiming to reach larger audiences with their music and establish a distinct, lasting identity within the broader music industry.
