Perseverance and steady determination often pave the way through difficult times, a fact demonstrated by two cousins from a village in Mau district. After years of relentless preparation, their joint success on the same day has brought immense joy to their entire family and local community.
Double Success In Bihar State
Residents of the Datauli village in Mau, Shiv Pratap Singh and his cousin Shweta Singh, have both been selected as assistant professors in the state of Bihar. According to family member Vijay Pratap Singh, Shiv Pratap Singh cleared the selection process conducted by the Bihar State University Service Commission in the subject of economics. Concurrently, Shweta Singh was selected for the assistant professor position in political science through the same commission. This simultaneous achievement has filled the household and the surrounding neighborhood with celebration.
Higher Education In Prayagraj And Varanasi
Both youths completed their foundational schooling up to the intermediate level within their native village. Subsequently, they moved to Varanasi and Prayagraj to pursue higher education. After completing their graduation, they pursued doctoral degrees and dedicated themselves to competitive exam preparation. Although the journey required seven to eight years of sustained effort, they maintained their focus throughout.
Skeptics Turn Up With Sweets
During the years the two cousins spent away from home preparing for their careers, various neighbors frequently voiced doubts and urged the family to recall them. Despite encountering these discouraging remarks, their family steadfastly supported their educational pursuits without letting their morale drop. When the results were announced and both secured their positions on the very same day, those same individuals who once criticized them were the first to arrive at their doorstep with sweets and floral garlands.
Fulfilling A Shared Family Dream
Reflecting on their achievement, Shiv Pratap Singh and Shweta Singh shared that this milestone belongs just as much to their parents and elder brother, who stood firmly by them through every challenge. Despite facing years of skepticism, the family's unwavering trust ultimately bore fruit. They expressed that their desire to become educators stems from a wish to guide and support the aspirations of many other students in the academic field. Following their selection, they are now preparing to take on their respective professional responsibilities.
