207th Rank and the SDM Post: Sapna Jha's Years of Effort Finally Bear Fruit
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) declared the result of its 70th examination on Saturday, and the news sent a wave of celebration through the home of Siwan Superintendent of Police Puran Kumar Jha. His sister Sapna Jha cleared the exam with the 207th rank, securing her place in the administrative service. She will now be appointed as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and the joy has spread well beyond the family to the entire region.
She Faced Failure More Than Once and Refused to Quit
Success in a test as demanding as BPSC does not come without a fight. Sapna Jha's path was far from straight. She encountered failure multiple times as she prepared, but each setback only pushed her to understand her weaknesses better and work harder. Her self-belief never wavered. That stubborn resolve is what eventually turned the tide, and today her achievement is the talk of her village and the whole district.
Her SP Brother Recalls Their Study Days Together and Shares a Key Lesson
Siwan SP Puran Kumar Jha expressed his pride in his sister's success and looked back at a chapter in their lives when the two siblings used to study together under the same roof. That shared study time helped both of them stay motivated and call out each other's weak points before they became bigger problems. He was clear that no shortcut exists on the road to achievement. Consistent hard work, dedication and an unbroken focus on preparation are the only things that carry a person to their goal.
Sapna Credits Her Family and Looks Ahead to Serving Society
Sapna Jha was emphatic that this success did not belong to her alone. She said her parents, brother, sister-in-law and her entire family had stood by her through every difficult stretch, keeping her spirits up and making sure she never lost heart. At the interview stage, she was put through questions on administrative responsibilities and law-and-order matters, all of which she handled with full confidence. With her selection confirmed, she is now looking forward to her role in the administrative service and has set her sights on working meaningfully for the benefit of society and everyday citizens.
