Furthermore, a retailer has reportedly claimed to sell the gadget for around ₹16,000.

Photographs shared on social media show the Fitbit Air purportedly displayed inside a retail store. In the pictures, the device appears in black, blue, and red color options. It is believed that these could correspond to the Obsidian, Lavender, and Cherry colorways of the global model, while the Fog color variant was missing from the photos.
Potential Indian Pricing Compared to Global Rates
A post claimed that a retailer is selling the Fitbit Air for approximately ₹16,000. However, this cannot be considered the official Indian price since Google has not yet announced the domestic pricing. Google launched the Fitbit Air in the United States starting at $99.99, which is roughly ₹9,400. Additionally, a special edition model was priced at $129.99, or around ₹12,300, designed in collaboration with NBA star Stephen Curry. If the purported ₹16,000 price tag in India proves accurate, it would be significantly higher than the global starting cost. Until official figures are released, this claim should be treated strictly as a leak.

Google confirmed earlier this month that the Fitbit Air will arrive in India in October 2026. The company has not yet specified the exact sale commencement date or which specific variants will be made available in the Indian market. The Fitbit Air was previously showcased during the Made by Google India briefing, where its Indian debut was first announced.
Screenless Fitness Tracking Experience
The defining feature of the Fitbit Air is its screenless design. It lacks any display and comes in a compact pebble-like form factor, intended to provide users with all-day fitness tracking free from notifications and screen distractions. Users can view all collected health data and other metrics on their connected smartphone using the Google Health app. Despite its diminutive size, the Fitbit Air packs numerous health-tracking capabilities, supporting continuous heart rate monitoring, heart rhythm tracking, and AFib alerts. It also includes tracking for SpO2, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and sleep metrics, allowing it to monitor different sleep stages and total sleep duration. For now, buyers await official pricing and availability details in India, meaning store-level claims of a ₹16,000 price point remain premature.
