Unveiled on Tuesday, the lineup features two premium devices, namely the Redmi K100 Pro and the Redmi K100 Pro Max. Both models are currently available for purchase through the company's official online portal in China. The series stands out by delivering top-tier hardware, including massive battery capacities, high-refresh-rate AMOLED screens, and a 200MP main camera system. Notably, the Redmi K100 Pro marks the global debut of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V chipset.

The Redmi K100 Pro comes in multiple memory and storage configurations to cater to different budget tiers. The baseline variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 3,999, which converts to approximately ₹57,000. Stepping up to the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage model brings the price to CNY 4,399 (roughly ₹62,000). For users needing more space, the 12GB RAM plus 512GB storage version costs CNY 4,599 (around ₹65,000), while the higher-end 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option is available for CNY 4,999 (approximately ₹71,000).
On the other hand, the Redmi K100 Pro Max carries a starting price of CNY 4,499 (roughly ₹64,000). The top-of-the-line edition of the Pro Max features 16GB of RAM combined with 1TB of onboard storage, retailing at CNY 5,999, which equals roughly ₹85,000. Consumers can choose from four distinct colorways across both models, including Black, Red, and Blue options.

In terms of screen specifications, the Redmi K100 Pro is equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, whereas the Redmi K100 Pro Max sports a larger 6.9-inch panel. Both devices offer an exceptionally smooth visual experience with screen refresh rates reaching up to 185Hz alongside an ultra-responsive 4,800Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the displays are engineered to support advanced visual formats such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, with peak brightness capabilities reaching up to 4,500 nits for clarity under intense direct lighting.

Under the hood, the standard Redmi K100 Pro is driven by the new 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V processor, making it the very first commercial device to incorporate this silicon. Meanwhile, the flagship Redmi K100 Pro Max utilizes the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. To ensure seamless multitasking and high-speed data access, both smartphones are outfitted with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM paired with UFS 4.1 high-speed storage. On the software front, the series operates on HyperOS 3, which is built on the Android 16 operating system.

Photography is a primary highlight of the Redmi K100 Pro series, with both models housing a powerful 200MP primary rear sensor enhanced with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The rear camera arrangement on the Redmi K100 Pro includes an additional 50MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The Redmi K100 Pro Max elevates the camera setup further by pairing the 200MP main lens with a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Furthermore, the Pro Max variant is capable of recording high-definition video in 8K resolution.

Battery endurance receives a major upgrade in this series. The Redmi K100 Pro packs a substantial 8,580mAh battery unit, while the Redmi K100 Pro Max houses an even larger 9,070mAh battery pack. Both smartphones support 100W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging speeds. The devices also feature reverse wireless charging functionality to power other accessories on the go. While both smartphones have gone on sale in China, the manufacturer has not yet shared any official details regarding their future release in India.
