When a green light appears, it indicates that your phone camera is currently active. This green dot shows up whenever you open the camera application or engage in video calls through platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and FaceTime. Furthermore, if both the camera and the microphone are being utilized simultaneously, the screen continues to display the green dot.
The orange light indicates that the microphone of your smartphone is currently engaged. This orange dot appears on the display during standard voice phone calls, while recording voice memos, or when activating voice command features such as Siri and Google Assistant.
A blue indicator emerges when specific location services like GPS, voice control, or screen sharing and screen mirroring features operate on the device. Beyond Google Maps, ride-hailing or food delivery applications tracking your geographic location can also trigger the appearance of this blue dot.
