A waterfall straddling the border of Jharkhand's Bokaro and Dhanbad districts is suddenly the talk of the region as monsoon rains transform it into a gushing spectacle. Located near Jamuniyatand village, Jamunia Fall has been drawing crowds of visitors eager to see it in full flow, and clips of the cascade are spreading fast across social media.
Water plunging from 40 feet
The falls' biggest draw is the sheer drop, with water crashing down from a height of about 40 feet. As the water hits the rocks below, it throws up a fine mist that spreads across the surrounding area. How to reach Jamunia Fall
Travellers heading to the falls need to pass through Kashitand towards Lohapatti before reaching Jamuniyatand. A left turn near the Gram Raksha Dal post along the way leads directly to the waterfall. Visitors coming from the Chandrapura block, meanwhile, can reach Jamunia Fall via the T-mor junction, which offers an easier approach from that side.

Hansraj, a resident of Bokaro's Sector-9, is among the recent visitors to Jamunia Fall. He said he decided to visit after seeing photos and videos of the waterfall on social media. "The beauty of Jamunia Fall is absolutely stunning," Hansraj said, adding that he felt thoroughly satisfied after seeing the site in person.
