Television actress Hina Khan has been making new vlogs with her husband Rocky Jaiswal, along with Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla, where the four openly discuss issues and people from the television industry. In the latest episode, the group had a long discussion about Gaurav Khanna and Aakanksha Chamola's divorce, but during the same conversation, Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal also took sharp aim at Shilpa Shinde.
A rivalry that goes back to Bigg Boss
The tension between Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde is not new. The two were contestants on the same season of Bigg Boss and were locked in a tough contest till the end. Shilpa Shinde eventually won the trophy, while Hina Khan finished as runner-up. Their rivalry has stayed in the headlines ever since that season ended, and it resurfaced once again in this new vlog.
Hina reacts to Shilpa's taunt during her cancer treatment
In the vlog, Hina Khan recalled that while she was undergoing cancer treatment, Shilpa Shinde had taunted her, saying Hina was using her illness merely to gain popularity. Shilpa had even questioned whether Hina really had cancer, and if she did, how her treatment got completed so quickly. Hina Khan and her husband Rocky Jaiswal openly expressed their anger over that old comment during the vlog.
Sharp questions over the false harassment allegations
The four then brought up Shilpa Shinde's old sexual harassment allegations, which turned out to be false. Shilpa Shinde had accused the maker of her show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain of sexual harassment, allegations that were not true. She herself revealed this on Harsh and Bharti's show. Hina Khan said that Shilpa Shinde never once mentioned inside the Bigg Boss house that she had made false allegations against her own show's maker. According to Hina, Shilpa knew very well that if she had revealed the truth, she would never have won Bigg Boss, which is why she kept it hidden. Hina went on to ask a pointed question: what if the person who was falsely accused had ended up taking his own life because of it.
Concern over trust in genuine victims
Voicing her displeasure, Hina Khan said sexual harassment is not something to be treated as a false or minor allegation. She said such false accusations mean that people will now stop believing genuine victims, and everyone will assume they are lying. Hina Khan also said she cannot understand how, despite everything that came out, the show's maker went on to give Shilpa Shinde work again on the very same show.
