Stepping up its organizational preparations well before the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has rolled out a fresh roster of office bearers across its key frontal wings. The party has reshuffled its state-level teams across the minority, women, farmer, scheduled caste, and backward class divisions to fine-tune its outreach and strengthen grassroots mobilization.
Key Leadership Roles Assigned Across Specialized Wings
Under the latest organizational adjustments, the responsibility of heading the minority wing in the state has been given to Anas Sajid Usmani as president. To balance representation across community segments, Anoop Valmiki has been picked as a vice president for the SC wing. Strengthening its rural connect, the party named Rambabu Dwivedi as a vice president for the farmer wing, alongside appointing Ramchandra Pradhan as a vice president in the OBC wing.
Extensive Expansion Across the State Women Wing
Significant appointments were also rolled out within the women's wing, which is currently headed by state president Saroj Kushwaha. Dr. Rashmi Rawal has been designated as a state vice president, alongside Priya Agarwal, Kalpana Tiwari, Manisha Shukla, Rama Singh, and Arpan Jaiswal in similar leadership positions. The party also added Manisha Pandey, Nirmala Anand, Aprajita Singh (Mamta Singh), Madhu Pandey, Amita Gupta, and Dr. Shruti Sharma to the roster of state vice presidents. To handle key administrative responsibilities, Varsha Kaushik and Anita Singh have been assigned the roles of general secretaries.
