A disturbing incident has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district, triggering widespread panic and unrest throughout the region. In Jagjivanpur village, falling under the jurisdiction of the Manpur police station, unidentified culprits excavated a two-month-old grave, extracted the deceased person's body, and fled after severing its head. The gruesome crime was uncovered when local villagers noticed the desecrated burial site, prompting immediate administrative and police intervention.
Grave Excavation and Decapitation in Jagjivanpur
According to verified local details, Jagjivanpur resident Namma passed away approximately two months ago following a battle with tuberculosis. Following his death, his family members performed the final rites in accordance with traditional customs and interred his body at the village graveyard. The family had been grieving peacefully until the night of August 27, when a few local farmers heading toward their agricultural fields noticed unusual disturbances at the cemetery.
Upon closer inspection, the villagers were shocked to find Namma's grave completely dug up. The corpse was lying outside the pit in a heavily mutilated state, with the head entirely missing from the torso. Horrified by the scene, the farmers immediately alerted Namma's family. Within minutes, family members alongside scores of distressed villagers rushed to the graveyard, confirming the desecration and headless condition of the remains.
