The girl's father, Krishna Kumar Dixit, who resides in Armapur Estate, works as a defense personnel and lives there along with his wife Bindu Devi and their children. On the night of October 27, Krishna Kumar had stepped out with his wife and two children to visit a temple, followed by a trip to the local market. At the time, only the student, her younger sister, and their grandmother were present at home. During this period, the younger sister walked over to her elder sister's room. Finding the door bolted from the inside, she called out repeatedly, but there was no answer from within.
Growing anxious, the younger sister called their grandmother for help. Together, they tried to open the door, but their efforts failed because it was securely latched from inside. They eventually pushed the door open with force, only to discover the ninth-grade student hanging from a noose. The horrific sight left both family members utterly shattered and bewildered as they tried to comprehend the unfolding nightmare.
