Firing at a wedding function in Mathura leaves one dead
Separately, another shooting was reported in Mathura district. A wedding function was underway at Rozy Garden, under the Highway police station area, when a dispute between two people led to gunfire. A man identified as Gajendra died on the spot after being shot. According to initial information, Gajendra and the accused, Pawan, are cousins, and both are residents of Parsoli village in the Nauhjhil police station area.
Old dispute over alleged illicit relationship
Reports suggest Gajendra and Pawan had been at odds for a long time over an alleged illicit relationship. The disagreement escalated into an argument during the wedding function.
