According to the complaint, when the woman raised objections to the misbehavior, the perpetrator threatened her with death. Following a formal complaint lodged by the woman, local law enforcement registered an FIR and promptly arrested the elderly accused person.

According to details gathered about the incident, the occurrence took place on Sunday night at approximately 10 PM when a female resident of the Nawabganj locality stepped outside her house to dispose of garbage. She was throwing the waste into a drain near her residence when a local man, estimated to be around 50 years of age, approached her. It is alleged that the man engaged in obscene behavior and touched her inappropriately. Rattled by the sudden assault, the woman panicked and immediately fled back inside her home. The CCTV footage successfully recorded the actions of the accused during the incident, making his misconduct glaringly obvious.
The victim's family revealed that the elderly man had been indulging in such troubling behavior for quite some time. Frustrated by the persistent harassment, the family specifically installed a surveillance camera, ensuring that the culprit could no longer evade accountability and leaving his actions permanently recorded on video.
