A catastrophic road crash in the Mohabbewala area of Uttarakhand capital Dehradun claimed the lives of four individuals when an uncontrolled heavy container overturned directly onto a passenger car. Both vehicles were traveling along the route heading from Saharanpur toward Dehradun when the disaster struck. In an astonishing stroke of fortune amidst the devastation, a six-year-old child riding inside the crushed vehicle emerged completely unharmed.
Devastating Collision on the Saharanpur Route
The victims were journeying toward Dehradun when their car became trapped beneath the massive cargo container near Mohabbewala. The sheer weight and force of the toppled commercial truck crushed the smaller vehicle beneath it, leaving those trapped inside with virtually no chance of evading the impact as emergency teams rushed to initiate rescue operations.
Three Family Members and Driver Perish in Crash
The casualties include three members of the same family: a husband, his wife, and a 63-year-old mother. The driver steering the car, identified as Neeraj, also lost his life in the collision. First responders worked under difficult conditions to extricate the victims from the compressed wreckage, confirming the fatalities while ensuring the surviving six-year-old boy received immediate care after his miraculous escape.
