The evacuation comes shortly after Prime Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a television interview last week that Iran had attempted to assassinate one of his sons. During a phone interview with Israeli Channel 14 on August 24, Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran had targeted one of his children in an assassination attempt, describing the incident as an unbelievable occurrence where hostile forces tried to take his son's life.
Shortly after the Prime Minister's remarks became public, prominent Israeli journalist Amit Segal claimed on his Telegram channel that Israeli authorities had been aware of the alleged assassination plot for months.
