During the United Nations General Assembly session held in New York, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar targeted Pakistan over the issue of terrorism from the global platform. He clearly outlined that most of the terrorist activities taking place around the world are linked in one way or another to Pakistan.
Demand for Strong Action Against Terrorism
During his address, S Jaishankar also raised serious questions about the functioning of international platforms and the methods of dealing with global terrorism. He emphasized that to uproot a global menace like terrorism, there is an urgent need to take strict and decisive steps rather than symbolic actions.
India Stance on the International Stage
The External Affairs Minister strongly reiterated India's independent foreign policy and the principles of global diplomacy during his speech. India has always maintained a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and expects a similar commitment from the international community.
