Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik recently advised students to cultivate strong communication skills, self-discipline, integrity, and problem-solving abilities to become effective leaders. According to a statement released by Lok Bhavan, the governor was addressing participants at a state-level youth leadership camp held in Balijan within the Papum Pare district.
Details of the Spread Your Wings Camp
The four-day camp, titled 'Spread Your Wings', commenced on October 22 at the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya in Balijan. Organized by the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust, the initiative gathered 145 students hailing from various schools operated by the organization across the entire state.
Fostering Reading Habits and Composure
Parnaik encouraged the young attendees to incorporate reading and writing into their daily routines, explaining that these practices expand knowledge, enrich vocabulary, and boost confidence in expressing ideas. He also advised participants to maintain composure during stressful scenarios while remaining firmly focused on their objectives, noting that a calm demeanor builds trust under difficult circumstances.
Analytical Skills and Core Values
Highlighting the significance of problem-solving in leadership, the governor urged students to sharpen their analytical thinking, anticipate potential hurdles, and make prompt, responsible decisions. He stressed that leadership must stem from a sense of duty and service rather than the pursuit of privilege, while urging youth to integrate integrity and commitment into their daily lives.
Encouraging Passion and National Welfare
The governor further motivated participants to nurture their personal passions alongside intelligence and skill, noting that dedication helps individuals overcome setbacks. Operating under the theme 'Love India', the camp aimed to unlock youth potential and channel their aspirations toward the welfare of Arunachal Pradesh and the nation as a whole.
