Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso on Thursday carried out an inspection of dilapidated government quarters situated near the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences in Naharlagun. He was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of the Itanagar Capital Region during the visit, which aimed to evaluate the suitability of these old buildings for the medical institute's upcoming expansion needs.
Boosting Healthcare Infrastructure
The government quarters have been proposed for transfer to the institute to accommodate its growing infrastructure requirements and service demands. Kaso noted that this initiative forms an integral part of broader efforts to upgrade healthcare facilities and foster all-round development across Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasized that achieving the state's vision of a progressive region hinges entirely on the timely execution of public projects, administrative accountability, and visible ground-level results.
Detailing the visit on social media, the legislator stated that with a firm resolve to build a healthier and better-equipped state, he inspected the site alongside local administration officials to review the feasibility of repurposing the nearby quarters for medical infrastructure expansion.
Warning Over Market Project Delays
In addition to the medical institute visit, the MLA inspected the ongoing Market Vendor Infrastructure Project in Naharlagun, where he expressed serious concern regarding the sluggish pace of execution. He issued a stern warning to the executing agency, directing them to accelerate operations and ensure completion without further delays.
Concluding his remarks, Kaso reiterated that every developmental undertaking must actively contribute to empowering the state and elevating the everyday quality of life for its residents.
