The dominance of Mahindra in the Indian automotive sector continues to grow stronger. In the latest sales performance report, the company achieved a total of 60,393 units sold last month. When compared to the 41,108 units sold in June 2025, this signifies an impressive annual growth rate of 47 percent. The rise in demand for the brand's popular range of SUVs is clearly driving this substantial increase in market volume.
Scorpio Leads the Sales Chart
The Mahindra Scorpio has secured the top position in the sales list. Last month, this rugged SUV saw a total of 14,097 units delivered to customers. In comparison to the 12,740 units sold in June 2025, this represents a healthy 11 percent increase. The SUV is priced starting from an ex-showroom tag of ₹13.49 lakh, going up to ₹24.95 lakh depending on the variant chosen.
Key Features and Capability
The Scorpio features a commanding ladder-frame design, measuring 4662 mm in length with a ground clearance of 187 mm. The cabin is equipped with premium leatherette seats, offering a spacious 6 or 7-seater layout along with dual-zone AC for added comfort. High-end features include a Sony sound system, large touchscreen infotainment, wireless connectivity, a 360-degree camera, and a sunroof. Safety is a hallmark of this model with a 5-star Global NCAP rating, 6 airbags, ESP, ABS, TPMS, and hill descent control. Top-spec variants also come equipped with ADAS. It offers a 2.0L turbo petrol (200 PS) engine and a 2.2L diesel (130-172 PS) engine with manual or automatic transmission choices. It delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of roughly 12 kmpl for petrol and 15-16 kmpl for diesel variants.
Performance of Other Models
The Mahindra Thar maintained its momentum in the second spot with 10,669 units sold, a 12 percent jump from the 9,542 units sold in June 2025. Third on the list is the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which found 10,063 new buyers. This reflects a significant 42 percent growth over the 7,089 units sold in the previous year. The Mahindra XUV 7XO holds the fourth spot with 9,244 units sold, while the Mahindra Bolero secured its place in the top 5 with 9,115 units, marking a 22 percent annual increase compared to the 7,478 units sold in June 2025.
Additional Model Performance
Beyond the top five, other models in the company lineup recorded sales as follows: XEV 9S at 4,018 units, XEV 9e at 2,006 units, and BE 6 at 1,150 units. The Mahindra XUV 400 recorded a much slower performance with only 31 units being sold during the month.
