Indian automaker Mahindra has released the first teaser video for its highly anticipated Scorpio N lifestyle pickup truck. The company is preparing for the official global debut of this new model on August 14, 2026. This upcoming pickup is the production-ready version of the Global Pik Up concept that was originally unveiled in 2023. Built on the platform of Mahindra's popular Scorpio N SUV, the lifestyle truck has been engineered for both the Indian market and several international locations. Accompanying the teaser imagery, Mahindra shared the tagline 'Born for a Bigger World' while highlighting the 14.08.26 reveal date.

The newly released teaser video provides key insights into the exterior styling and structural details of the vehicle. Mahindra's new pickup truck features a dual-cab layout equipped with a spacious rear cargo bed. Up front, the vehicle showcases Mahindra's new twin peaks logo flanked by a modern LED lighting setup. Additional exterior features include integrated LED DRLs, functional roof rails, and bold alloy wheels. At the rear, the truck sports distinct C-shaped LED taillights. The overall silhouette presents a rugged stance, with its cargo bed styling drawing direct comparisons to established competitors like the Toyota Hilux.
Cabin Features, Panoramic Sunroof, and Technology
On the inside, the pickup truck will borrow heavily from the premium cabin layout and equipment list of the Scorpio N SUV. In a first for any Mahindra pickup model, the vehicle will feature a panoramic sunroof, a highlight confirmed in the teaser footage. The interior gets an updated dashboard along with a modern infotainment setup. Expected equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display and a 10.25-inch fully digital driver instrument cluster. Comfort and connectivity features are slated to include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, power-adjustable front seats, and a 540-degree camera system. Under the hood, the Scorpio N pickup truck will offer potent powertrain choices borrowed from the SUV platform. Buyers can expect options for a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine as well as a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine. Both engine choices are anticipated to come paired with manual and automatic transmission options. To deliver robust off-road capability across diverse terrains, the pickup will retain Mahindra's shift-on-the-fly 4x4 drivetrain and terrain management system.

Continuing Mahindra's annual tradition of hosting major product showcases around Independence Day, the vehicle will be officially unveiled on August 14, 2026. The BE 6 Sporteq variant is also expected to make an appearance during the same unveiling event. Following its global debut on August 14, the lifestyle pickup truck is slated for a commercial launch in India in 2027. Estimated pricing is projected to fall between ₹18 lakh and ₹23 lakh. Upon release, the new Mahindra truck will serve as a strong competitor against established rivals such as the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross in the lifestyle pickup segment.
