Rising international demand alongside high manufacturing standards has expanded the footprint of Indian motorcycles and scooters across global markets. Leading automakers including Bajaj, TVS, Honda, Yamaha, and Hero MotoCorp registered substantial export volumes across various vehicle categories. The surge in shipments of everyday commuter motorcycles, sporty performance bikes, and automatic scooters underscores strong industrial momentum and serves as a positive indicator for India's economic growth trajectory.
Bajaj Boxer Retains Top Position with Massive Growth
Bajaj Boxer maintained its dominant lead as the most exported Indian two-wheeler in international markets. In Q2 2026, Bajaj shipped 3,37,314 units of the Boxer overseas. This marks a 109.98% year-on-year increase compared to the 1,60,638 units dispatched in Q2 2025. The Boxer alone accounted for a 21.75% share of total Indian two-wheeler exports during the quarter, solidifying its position as the top choice among global buyers seeking durable commuter mobility.
TVS Star City Secures Second Spot in Global Markets
TVS Star City registered strong performance to secure the second position in the export tally. Driven by product reliability and fuel efficiency, the commuter motorcycle recorded exports of 2,72,507 units in Q2 2026. This reflects a 41.62% increase over the 1,92,416 units exported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. TVS Star City captured a 17.57% share of the overall two-wheeler export market during this period.
Bajaj Pulsar and CT Register Steady Export Volume
The Bajaj Pulsar sporty motorcycle range ranked third overall in exports. During Q2 2026, Bajaj exported 1,33,349 units of the Pulsar series, achieving a 10.96% increase compared to the 1,20,180 units exported in Q2 2025. Pulsar contributed 8.60% to total two-wheeler exports. Meanwhile, the budget-friendly Bajaj CT took fourth place with 1,01,856 units exported in Q2 2026, representing a 30.94% increase over the 77,790 units recorded in Q2 2025. The CT model held a 6.57% share of total exports.
Honda Dio Tops Scooter Segment Alongside Top 10 Lineup
In the automatic scooter category, Honda Dio emerged as the leading performer, finishing fifth in the overall two-wheeler standings. Exports of the Honda Dio reached 57,484 units in Q2 2026, registering a 71.48% leap from the 33,523 units exported in Q2 2025. The Dio captured a 3.71% market share in total exports. Completing the top 10 positions were the Honda Navi in sixth place with 53,004 units, Yamaha FZ in seventh with 43,962 units, TVS Sport in eighth with 39,183 units, TVS Apache in ninth with 34,755 units, and Hero Xtreme in tenth with 34,726 units.
