Audi India has officially commenced bookings for the new third-generation Audi Q3 entry-level luxury SUV across the country. Coming right ahead of the festive season, this offers premium vehicle buyers an early opportunity to reserve the updated model. Making its Indian debut one year after its global unveil, the SUV will be locally assembled to keep pricing competitive. Scheduled to hit the market in October 2026, the updated Audi Q3 will renew its rivalry with competitors like the BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA. Industry estimates suggest an expected price tag ranging between Rs 55 lakh and Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Enhanced Styling and Expanded Dimensions
Compared to its predecessor, the third-generation Audi Q3 arrives with a larger footprint, sharper design cues, and an array of updated technology. Audi is prioritizing this launch as part of its broader strategy to expand its market share in India. Interested buyers can now reserve the SUV through authorized dealerships or via online platforms. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,531 mm in length, 1,859 mm in width, and 1,623 mm in height, built upon a 2,681 mm wheelbase. Storage needs are met by a 488-liter boot capacity, which can be expanded by folding down the rear seats. Visually, the front fascia sports split LED headlamps, a wide grille layout, a honeycomb air dam, and a silver skid plate. Moving along the profile, it features 18-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, and a floating roof effect, while the rear gets split tail lamps linked by an LED light strip along with an illuminated Audi logo.
Modernized Interior and High-Tech Features
Step inside the cabin, and the overall layout presents a thoroughly digitized and luxurious environment. A wraparound digital setup houses a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display alongside an 11.9-inch digital driver display. Audi has equipped the SUV with a premium Sonos sound system for enhanced audio output. Occupants also benefit from high-end amenities including a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, dual-zone automatic climate control, configurable ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and a wireless phone charger. To streamline the center console, the gear selector mechanism has been relocated to a stalk behind the steering wheel.
Powertrain, Performance, and Safety Systems
Under the hood, the new Audi Q3 comes equipped with standard Quattro all-wheel drive capabilities. Power is supplied by a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that delivers an output of 204 hp and 320 Nm of peak torque. This motor comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.1 seconds, with the SUV reaching a top speed of 229 km/h. On the safety front, the vehicle comes loaded with Level 2 ADAS technology, a 360-degree surround-view camera, an auto-parking function, multiple airbags, and various driver assistance safety systems.
