To promote financial independence and social welfare among vulnerable women, the Rajasthan government continues to distribute monthly financial assistance through dedicated pension initiatives. Under the National Widow Pension Scheme and the Chief Minister Single Woman Honor Pension Scheme, qualified beneficiaries, including destitute widows, divorced, and deserted women, receive 1,450 rupees every month. This monetary support aims to help women meet their daily living costs while offering them a reliable safety net.
Outreach and Financial Disbursement Scale in Rajasthan
Recent social welfare data highlights the extensive reach of the National Widow Pension Scheme across the state. Approximately 4.17 lakh women in Rajasthan have been enrolled as active beneficiaries under this welfare initiative. To date, the state government has disbursed nearly 662 crore rupees directly to support these women. The sizable allocation underscores the administration's attempt to deliver timely economic relief to eligible citizens residing in both rural and urban areas.
