Belaganj Station House Officer Sunil Kumar Dwivedi confirmed the development, noting that the alleged viral videos showing Chiraila panchayat mukhiya Jitendra Kumar Yadav brandishing a weapon had been taken into official cognizance. Following orders from higher command, the police lodged the statutory case and launched an extensive inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the visual evidence.
