Law and order faced another severe challenge in the Bihar capital after criminals brutally stabbed a young man to death late at night in Patna. The incident took place on July 27, 2026, in the Tikiya Toli locality of Mogalpura, falling under the jurisdiction of the Khajekala police station. The victim had just stepped outside his residence after finishing dinner when unidentified attackers ambushed him with knives. Victim Identified as Local Decorator Suraj Kumar
According to preliminary details released by law enforcement, the deceased has been identified as Suraj Kumar, who earned his living as an electrician and event decorator. Police took custody of the body and subsequently transferred it to the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) for a detailed post-mortem examination.
