A shocking case of abduction and gang-rape targeting a 15-year-old minor girl has come to light in the Kutumba police station jurisdiction of Aurangabad Bihar. The victim, a seventh-grade student and the eldest of four siblings, was returning home when the harrowing incident took place. Law enforcement authorities reacted promptly upon receiving the complaint, arresting two individuals involved in the crime while a manhunt is active to capture the remaining suspect. The survivor has been admitted to the Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for medical treatment and care.
At the time of the incident, the victim's father was away for daily wage labor, and her mother had taken her younger brother to a hospital. Consequently, the girl had to travel alone toward the Kutumba hospital as she had been suffering from a fever for the past two to three days.
Abducted and Assaulted Inside a Car
According to the victim's statement, she was walking from her home toward the hospital when a car approached her from behind about a kilometer away from her village. Three young men were inside the vehicle. The culprits stopped the car and inquired about her destination. When she explained that she was unwell and heading to the Kutumba hospital, the perpetrators forcibly pulled her inside the vehicle. They covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming and snatched her mobile phone to cut off any communication.
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
When the victim provided the police with details of the route and location, it was revealed that the attackers drove her approximately 35 kilometers away. Police stated that the perpetrators traveled from Amba Bazar via NH 139 toward the Dhawa village route near the Shankarpur ROB, where the brutal assault occurred. The survivor alleged that the culprits subjected her to physical abuse and sexual violence. Upon overhearing them discuss plans to kill her, she pleaded with the attackers to spare her life.
Released Near Home and FIR Filed
After the assault, the culprits dropped her off about a half-kilometer away from her home and fled the scene. Before leaving, they returned her mobile phone. The victim then called her grandparents for assistance and narrated the entire ordeal upon reaching home. On Monday, she visited the Kutumba police station accompanied by her parents and officially registered an FIR against the accused.
Audio Recording Emerges
The victim's family has handed over an audio recording to the local police. The family claims that this audio was captured by the victim's phone while she was inside the car. The recording reportedly features a loud Bhojpuri song playing in the background alongside a voice where one of the suspects can be heard boasting about targeting multiple girls. Authorities are currently examining the validity and details of the audio file.
SIT Formed and Two Suspects Apprehended
Following the gravity of the incident, Aurangabad Superintendent of Police Upendra Nath Verma ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team headed by SDPO Sadar-1 Aditya Kumar. Launching an immediate crackdown, police arrested two of the three accused directly from their village. Raids are actively continuing to apprehend the third absconding suspect.
