Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has unveiled sweeping transformations across the state's education and employment sectors. Speaking in Motihari, he stated that local students will soon no longer need to travel to distant coaching hubs like Kota for engineering and medical entrance exams. To make high-end guidance accessible locally, the administration has finalized plans to open 700 specialized preparation centers throughout the state.
Local Coaching Infrastructure to Replace Kota Migration
Samrat Choudhary pointed out that while lakhs of youngsters from Bihar previously moved to Kota for JEE and NEET coaching, the majority of the educators teaching them actually originated from Bihar. Recognizing this anomaly, the government resolved to establish robust academic training facilities right within the state. Specialized preparation modules have already commenced inside government model schools to ensure quality instruction is readily available to all aspirants.
Officials noted that citizens are welcome to visit any model school to inspect the upgraded infrastructure firsthand. These institutions boast adequate teaching staff and enhanced amenities designed to foster a competitive academic environment. According to updates shared on X, the administration remains firmly committed to elevating educational standards across every district.
Expanding Aviation and Road Networks
Alongside educational reforms, infrastructural development is moving at a rapid pace across Bihar. The administration is currently constructing numerous four-lane and two-lane highways to improve connectivity. Furthermore, special development initiatives are underway in the Champaran region, which includes formal plans to construct two brand new airports in Raxaul and Valmiki Nagar to boost regional commerce and travel.
Targeting One Crore Jobs Before 2030
Addressing the state's employment roadmap, the Deputy Chief Minister recalled that during the 2020 assembly polls, a promise had been made to deliver ten lakh government jobs alongside ten lakh livelihood opportunities. A comprehensive review conducted prior to the 2025 elections revealed that approximately fifty lakh individuals had already secured government positions or alternative employment under these ongoing initiatives.
Accelerating State Transformation
Buoyed by these milestones, the administration has set an even larger benchmark for the coming years. Officials have pledged to generate government jobs and employment opportunities for a total of one crore citizens prior to the year 2030. State authorities continue to implement systematic policy changes aimed at fostering long-term economic growth and prosperity.
